    Default Nucynta

    Does anyone have any personal experience with this new pain med (suppose to be the next OC)? My doc gave me 10 50mg as a sample but I can't take my regular meds with it so if it doesn't work I am screwed. Reviews I have found are mixed - just hoping to talk to someone that has taken this med?

    "...NUCYNTA(TM) binds to mu-opioid receptors and inhibits norepinephrine re-uptake..."
    Would this be a problem for someone on Cymbalta or who is bi-polar?

    Any help would be great!

    I personally think they are awful. They are nowhere near any OC. I think its kind of like....a Tramadol is a ******* and Ny****a is a perocet. Its just a stronger Tramadol. My pharmacist says she only has 3 others that get them filled and they all have switched back to the tried and true.

    Is this some kind of SSRI and Methadone like pain pill? I've never heard of such a thing!
